At the 2017 BETT show in London, Acer introduced the world to CloudProfessor, an empowering IoT starter kit that helps to show people of all ages—particularly youth—just how easy it can be to pick up on the language of programming.

The easy-to-use Acer CloudProfessor works in conjunction with an Arduino development board and visual coding software that is compatible with a variety of programming languages from JavaScript and LiveCode to Blockly. One feature that will especially appeal to kids in the IoT age is that CloudProfessor does not need to be used on a computer. In fact, users may write and test code using their mobile device and the CloudProfessor app.

This all-new educational product was developed for 'Hour of Code,' a global movement from Computer Science Education Week and Code.org that aims to provide students with a one-hour introduction to computer science and programming.
