The ScienceRay website posted these beautiful dragonfly closeups, which show this fascinating insect’s bizarre life cycle like never before. Even to the naked eye, when dragonflies are spotted jumping lightly across the water of a pool or natural water resource, you can see the gorgeous colors on their tiny frames. Sometimes, if they remain still for a moment or two, you can even get a glimpse of the geometrical patterns on their wings.
