Zoom Launches 'Immersive View' Feature to Bring People Together

With mounting competition from other video chat platforms, Zoom has introduced several new features including its latest launch called Immersive View. In order to keep evolving, Zoom's new type of virtual background assembles video participants together in one scene.
The new Immersive View evokes the feeling of being in a classroom or boardroom. Everyone is arranged to be seated at a virtual desk in front of the same backdrop, which could offer a less distracting experience compared to the original gallery view. Up to 25 people can be placed in the Immersive View scene, and additional participants are displayed in a thumbnail strip.
Along with the power to automatically or manually place users into the scene, hosts can also upload their own backgrounds.
