Iceberg Inspired Chairs - The iFreeze (GALLERY)

The iFreeze Chair is all sharp edges and asymmetrical to boot. That’s because its shape was inspired by arctic icebergs. The chair’s arms actually light up which perhaps emulates the icy glare of the real icebergs. Sit on one and contemplate the global warming situation where icebergs are forming from rapidly disintegrating arctic ice shelves. The iFreeze was designed by Jitrin Jintaprecha. Pasaya, a unique luxury textile from Thailand, is used as the upholstery fabric as well as for the cushions. Source: jitrin Via: yankodesign |
