Hedi Slimane's “Teenage Takeover” in Dazed & Confused

The January 2009 issue of Dazed & Confused is a celebration of teenage culture and what it means to be a young Brit these days.

We recently reported on the competition to design the cover of the issue and now we have the “Teenage Takeover” editorial spread by legendary fashion designer and photographer Hedi Slimane with styling by Nicola Formichetti.

Rather than simply use professional models, Hedi Slimane scoured London’s streets and coffee shops for four days looking for authentic teenagers who best represented the current generation of British youth.
