Ordinarily, trying to open a doorknob with an arm or an elbow would be a futile pursuit but Adapta's hands-free door opener helps makes it possible. While there are many attachments that are specifically created for doors with pull or lever handles, this device was created to fit around round doorknobs. With the attachment gripping the doorknob, there's a protruding component that provides just enough surface area to create a turning motion and allow a shut door to open.
The device is also notable for being printed with thermochromic pigments, meaning that when someone's hand comes into contact with the hands-free door opener attachment, it temporarily changes color.
