1,500 students in Belgium dressed in matching ponchos to participate in a competition to break a new world record, and they succeeded! They made it into the Guiness World Records for the most Mentos and Coke explosions.

This is one of those Guinness record things which involve a whole bunch of people doing really mindless stuff that looks really neat on video. Last year’s Guinness record breaking event held in Cincinnati involved 500 people. Watch the video.
