This toe-tapping commercial for Mahou Premium Light Beer uses a young hip couple to convey the message that their brand is so light that you’ll become weightless after drinking it. The ad was created by advertising agency El Laboratorio with creative direction by Nico Caicoya.
Implications - Brands or ad agencies that take a literal approach with their selling points communicate a message in a way that is easy to understand. In this particular case, the ad also manages to be extremely eye-catching through the use of surrealism. Ultimately, post-production technology makes it much easier for ads to go above and beyond with a simple concept, making for ads that are memorable.
