Givenchy Brings Chaps to Spring 2009 Paris Show

Givenchy stayed with the black for its spring 2009 collection but surprised with a cowboy vibe that was evident in their choice to pair denim with leather chaps.

Leather chaps are becoming high fashion? That’s a very scary thought!

Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci’s vision of a fun spring and summer consisted of the aforementioned chaps, bondage tops, thigh-high boots, and micro-short dresses.

If you ask me, only a few ruffled beige and yellow dresses and tops look like fun spring wear to me.
