Mediamesh & Illumesh

A new LED technology turns regular buildings into gigantic colorful ads. AG4 and GKD have designed Mediamesh and Illumesh, a method of lightning that lets developers place LEDs everywhere (even on windows). An eye catcher for sure, but likely unaffordable for most marketers.

Implications - The advertising industry is abuzz with talk of whether or not online advertising is the death of all print and out of home media purchases. Thus, innovative media buyers are searching for (and even creating) new and inventive ways to use their surroundings as forms of media.
