Popularity is paramount on Twitter. Ashton Kutcher recently realized that he has a lot of Twitter followers, almost as many as Britney Spears and CNN. At around 850,000 followers, Kutcher believes he is in the race for the lead. In this video, Kutcher announces his intentions to Punk Ted Turner, if he can reach 1 million followers before CNN who is currently just over 900,000. It may be worth the attention to help out Ashton Kutcher if he can think of a great way to punk Ted Turner with something other than the “ding dong ditch”.  You can see a full list of the top Twitter users (in terms of followers) at Twitterholic. It’s slightly behind the real-time counts, but is an accurate list.
