American Swedish clothing label GANT has teamed up with iconic American denim brand Wrangler to launch an expansive Fall/Winter 2022 collection that pays tribute to American iconography while exploring both brands' shared artistic visions.
The new 30-piece collection expertly belts preppy East Coast styles with all-American Westcoast denim looks. Some notable pieces include an oversized varsity jacket with Western-style embroidery, bootcut jeans with varsity patches, and a faux-fur-lined denim jacket that draws inspiration from those worn by 70s-era rockstars.
“Working with Wrangler has been an incredibly fun experience. The moment I first spoke with Sean, I knew that we had the same things in common. We are both vintage fanatics and found a lot of unexpected common ground in our respective archives. The collision between the history of our two brands in 2022 has resulted in some really interesting pieces,” said GANT creative director Christopher Bastin.
