Proclaim’s DMT-100 speaker system looks like a series of giant eyeballs. However, Proclaim believes that the unique shape enables the speakers to, “create the most accurate music reproduction possible in any room, in any home.” Their theory is that their spherical enclosures help to create perfect balance and timing… but I think the real point is that you will feel like you are in outer space.
The enclosures are built using two opposing layers of fiberglass which are filled with a proprietary sand mixture which is then vibrated to a densely packed consistency. The result is a heavy, dead, non resonating enclosure that lets the driver unit itself do all the talking and not the surrounding surface.
