If you consider yourself to be someone without a sophisticated palate, the bizarre Olfactic Dog Nose promises to improve your food tasting experience.

The implement comes from British food inventor Charlie Harry Francis of Lick Me I'm Delicious, who describe that this nose improves olfactory receptors. While the round black nose might just look like a costume piece, the nose is actually meant to be soaked in water and work for 10 minutes prior to eating. This way, the Olfactic Dog Nose moistens the nasal cavity, improving one's experience of scents and flavors. Quite simply, Charlie Harry Francis describes: "In the same way as our eyes don't work well in the dark, our nose doesn't work well if it's dry."
