Emilija Vinzanovaite and Jolita Vaitkute are Lithuanian artists who use their combined talents to create stunning food buffet renditions of the portraits of famous figures.
The two are able to bring the portraits together by arranging food across expansive table surfaces. The pieces vary in size and color, depending on the selection of the food buffet. A portrait of Albert Einstein makes use of a vast variety of pastries and vibrant fruit whereas another contrasts different vegetables to distinguish between detailed features.
Other works by the artists include portraits drawn using flour, fruit carving and some that are created with soil, grass and floral arrangements. Each of the pieces looks true to the figure that is tributes, proving that immaculate art can be created with just about any material.
