In February, we introduced you to the Earthrace Environmental Powerboat. The Earthrace is a 1080 Horsepower, 78 foot boat aiming to break the circumnavigation world record using only renewable fuels.  Well, the great news is that the Earthrace is ready!  “Earthrace is about to get to San Francisco.  The boat will be open to the public on Friday, Saturday, Sunday (18-20 Aug) at Pier 39.  It will be open from 10am - 5pm on each day.  Come and check us out. Talk to the crew.  Find out about biodiesel.  And walk aboard the world’s coolest boat!  Earthrace is a bid to break the world record for circumnavigating the globe in a powerboat, and using only renewable fuels. The program includes an 18-month tour calling at 60 of the worlds great cities, promoting fuels like biodiesel, and raising awareness about sustainable use of resources.”
