New York artist Phillip Toledano showcases the growing trend of artistic fashion by photographing models wearing the latest fashion designs as pieces of art in a gallery or a museum.

We have seen fashion designers such as Versace and Dolce & Gabbana design their recent dresses and bags as if they were paintings. Phillip Toledano ran with the idea in a different direction. He took the fashion creations and showcased them as true pieces of art.

I love the art direction. You can see people snapping pictures of the ‘art,’ sitting down on a bench next to it and sketching the masterpieces and having security staff guard them closely.
