Fall is a great season for cooking, and the perfect example of yummy fall treats are pumpkin-flavored cookies.
These cookies are a zesty combination of scrumptious chewy pumpkin topped off with rich brown sugar vanilla icing. They are easy to make and even easier to gobble up. Eggs and vanilla are mixed into a bowl and the star ingredient pumpkin is added. Once those three ingredients are properly mixed, cinnamon, clove, ginger and nutmeg are added to the bowl and are accompanied by baking soda, flour and salt to make the base of the cookie. The little dough balls are placed in a 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes so they remain chewy and satisfying.
Afterwards, the pumpkin spice cookies are decorated with a salty caramel frosting and are ready for you to sit back, sip apple cider and enjoy your fall treats.
