Whitebox Eatery's Falafel Sandwich Can Barely Be Contained to the Bun

With white walls, tables and chairs, Whitebox Eatery definitely lives up to its name, setting the perfect backdrop for tasty creations like its falafel sandwich to shine. While the decor may me simple, eats at this fast-casual St. Louis restaurant are certainly not.

Rather than serving its falafels in a pita, this sandwich gets an upscale reinvention by being served like a sub sandwich on a sliced baguette. With a bite, you'll get a mouthful of chickpea fritters, roasted red pepper, crumbled feta cheese, fresh arugula, topped by a lemon-olive mayonnaise dressing. This mayo is a staple for other sandwiches served at the Whitebox Eatery, including the Italian Sandwich, made up of coppa, salami, mortadella and provolone.
