An increasing wave of collaborations are intermingling companies with social media platforms. Most recently, Facebook and Delta Air Lines are offering a new way to book airplane tickets directly through its Facebook fan page.
Called the 'Delta Ticket Window,' Delta Air Lines is tapping into Facebook's 500+ million users. It is the first airline to make the move into the social media space, and if all goes well, I'd surely expect other airlines to hop on this ticket as well.
