This eye health awareness project from the Miami Ad School envisions that Snapchat could be used as a tool to spot early signs of developing glaucoma.

On Snapchat, there are currently more stories being viewed than produced daily, which means that this platform is the perfect place for spreading an important message like this one. This concept for 'Detect' imagines that eye-tracking technology could be used to spot abnormal eye movements. If an irregular pattern is detected, a user could be notified to visit a doctor for a full eye health assessment.

Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness in the United States, but a creative tool like this one has the potential to play a part in preventing early warning signs from going unnoticed.
