Because of the huge popularity of dating and social networking sites like Facebook, business at stores that specialize in retouching photos is way up. According to the English photo specialists Snappy Snaps, there has been a staggering 550% increase in requests for the services. It seems Tony Blair recently had photo facework for Men’s Vogue and Faith Hill had face and body work for Redbook along with just about everyone else. Why bother with expensive plastic surgery when you can have your photo redone for much cheaper? It’s the opposite of Dorian Gray, as you get older your picture gets younger. You can do it too, watch the video.

It used to be the domain of celebrities who demanded wrinkle free foreheads and whiter-than-white teeth. The majority of retouching requests related to profile images for sites such as Facebook, MySpace and My Single Friend. Technology means the images can be tweaked and polished, spokeswoman Ann Simpson said. Those striving to achieve a flawless look can have crooked teeth straightened, brightened and whitened. Dark shadows can be removed, wrinkle and frown lines eased and bodies slimmed. (dailymail)
