To celebrate the upcoming release of Marvel's 'Black Panther,' the upscale theater chain Alamo Drafthouse has crafted a gourmet menu of savory Ethiopian dishes. Crafted by Food Network Star Chef Brad Sorenson, the new menu is far more enticing than your standard bag of popcorn.
Marking the Black Panther premier, Chef Sorenson has crafted a menu inspired by the "Wakanda-adjacent nation of Ethiopia." Many of the dishes revolve around two common Ethiopian ingredients: berbere spice and niter kibbeh. The result is a series of flavorful dishes that include Niter Kibbeh Popcorn, baked-to-order Dabo Kolo breadsticks, Waadii Berbere Spiced Wings, and a blended Ginger Spiced Shake made with African Coffee.
The delicious new menu will be available for a limited time for those lucky enough to score tickets to a showing of Black Panther.
