 Personal Dental Repair Kits The state of British teeth has long been the butt of jokes, but a recent study revealed that some have resorted to DIY dentistry including pulling their own teeth because they could not afford or find a dentist. Searching online I found a number of DIY dental repair kits available in the UK. Meanwhile, in America, recent figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicate that 27 percent of children and 29 percent of adults had cavities being left untreated. The level of untreated decay is at its highest since the late 1980’s, mostly as a result of rising fees and inadequate insurance.  One respondent in Lancashire, northern England, claimed to have extracted 14 of their own teeth with a pair of pliers. In Liverpool, one of those collecting data for the survey interviewed three people who had pulled out their own teeth in one morning.
