The Elev8 Bike Allows Elderly to Change Height at Whim

For avid and new riders alike, the fixed nature of bicycle seats can be frustrating; the Elev8 bike addresses this common complaint. It boasts an auto-adjusting seat that allows people to change the height at whim. This is an incredibly useful feature since getting on a bike can be extremely difficult for some. The seat is often uncomfortably high when feet are placed on the ground and not the pedals.

Conceived and created by Bill Becker, a retired assembly line worker, the Elev8 bike is especially geared towards elderly cyclists. The seat is attached to a pivoting arm that is controlled by a lever on the handlebar. The Elev8 bike can even be adjusted while in motion to ensure that it is already in a lower position when coming to a full stop. Stats for Auto-Adjusting Cycle Seats Trending: Older & Average
