This educational video game was developed to teach kids about romantic poetry while also taking them on an epic adventure and helping them improve their creating writing skills. From Dejobaan Games, Elegy for a Dead World is a computer game that lets players explore three different but ruined worlds, each based on a poem from the romantic era by Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley and John Keats.

The educational video game offers a stimulating and immersive environment where players can write accounts (like "an advanced Mad Libs") of the lost civilizations to send back to the universe. In the game, players act as survivors exploring the glorious ruins. They also have the option of sharing their writing with other gamers at the end of the game.
