Starting in July of 2009, on board Fleur de Passion, oceanographers will be visiting 100 of the world's most important marine eco-regions. The expedition is to assess the state of the Earth’s marine environment.

Amazingly, the Antinea Foundation invites members of the public as ‘eco-volunteers’ to join them aboard their flagship, which is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute to marine conservation.

The 3,600 day mission will raise awareness of the consequences that the deterioration of our marine system
will have on our lives, and our world. Stats for Global Eco Expeditions Trending: Older & Mild
