Israel's Kfar Kedem (Village of Yore) theme park is now offering donkey-based WiFi. The service allows visitors to the theme park to access wireless Internet on one of five router-equipped donkeys.
The Village of Yore is designed to show how life was like in a Talmudic village in the first century. The park's workers and actors all dress and act the part, so it only makes sense for the park's WiFi connection to be first century in origin. The Village of Yore currently has 30 donkeys in its stables, five of which are equipped with WiFi routers. Donkey-based WiFi connections may sound silly, but it's a great way to help keep the theme of the park. If everyone was constantly Facebooking and Tweeting, then the first-century vibe might be ruined.
