Considering that the population seems to double every time I check, Donald Scruggs’s chiral coffin concept is morbidly convenient. Looking like one big screw, it’s an easy way to not only put the body underground, but also save space.

Essentially, Donald Scruggs’s coffin actually acts like a screw as well. It twists vertically into the ground. The coffin design was recently granted a patent, so we may be seeing these chiral coffins on the market in the near future.
