Petaluma's Sweet Potato Jerky is the first dog treat from the brand and it takes the form of a single-ingredient meatless snack for pets. This alternative to traditional meat jerky options for dogs is fueled only by organically grown sweet potatoes, which reduce the pet food industry's reliance on chicken, most of which comes from inhumane factory farming. As the sustainable pet food company recognizes, a package of Sweet Potato Jerky treats helps to save 185 gallons of water, eliminate eight pounds of greenhouse gas emissions, plus it uses less land compared to traditional chicken jerky treats.
