'Do Plants' is a new campaign form Silk that taps celebrities like Venus Williams and DJ Khaled to show the power of plant-based foods. The brand's Very Vanilla Soymilk is a fixture of the 'Jump' commercial, which is supported by the tennis star, who says: "strong is good." A second video in Silk's Do Plants initiative involves DJ Khaled, who is shown preparing a Silk Almond Milk smoothie.

While there have been many celebrity endorsements for unhealthy beverages, the start of this Do Plants initiative from Silk could mark the turning of a new leaf for the public's perception of plant-based beverages. This is particularly true since the sales of non-dairy milks have been surpassing traditional cow's milk beverages in many supermarkets as of late.
