Disasters are proving to be en vogue in the world of fashion photography. Up and coming fashion designer Abigail Lorick recently showcased her Spring 2009 collection in a disaster-themed set. We’ve also seen numerous hurricane-inspired fashion designs.

New York artist Phillip Toledano utilizes this increasing fascination with disasters in his fashion photography. His work features models sporting sharp suits and expensive clothes next to the debris and damaged remains in the aftermath of disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes and accidents.
