Murano Glass Eyeballs - Delifina Delettre Fendi's Beasties (GALLERY)

Delifina Delettrez Fendi made her fashion debut at 19 during the Paris Fashion week at which she showed a stunning collection of animals and skull sculptures. Growing up, her grandmother told spooky wartime stories and Delifina always loved antique crucifixes. In her second collection as a more experienced 20 year old, Delifina is hand making pieces for an “eyeball” group using Murano glass eyeballs set in rings, chokers and snake bracelets.
Delettrez Fendi said she's been watching a lot of wildlife documentaries for inspiration, resulting in a new menagerie of iridescent enamel beasties, including piggies and speckled frogs as well as a Jardinière set of hammered silver necklaces crawling with brightly hued insects and flowers.
