MTV used to stand for Music Television, and Total Request Live (TRL) was the music countdown program that launched a thousand careers. Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and N’Sync all got a big boost when they appeared on TRL, but now, TRL is no more. It’s canceled. Lol...music television has been dead ever since "Reality" shows started taking over. During the eighties, there was much less talking and many more videos. :-) |
