The Dai Haifei 'Egg House' is an eco-conscious structure sitting at 6 feet high. This puny living space is the product of architecture student Dai Haifei's struggle (and fail) to find a rental price in Beijing, China that suits him.

This makeshift mini-home was handcrafted by Haifei, consisting completely of bamboo, wood chippings and grass seed that Dai Haifei expects to bloom and flourish in the spring. Check out the Dai Haifei 'Egg House' in the gallery. Stats for Makeshift Mini-Homes Trending: Older & Buzzing
