Artist Charles Kaufman creates crushed can art.  As he explains on his site, “I take empty soft drink or beer cans then crush and flatten them. Using acrylic paints I create a painting on one side of the crushed can. My Crushed Can artwork is then mounted in a frame, ready to hang. Not only is each artwork an original, but the crushing of the can creates a one-of-a-kind “canvas”’
