Portland company Showers Pass has boosted its already-impressive range of outdoor apparel products with the introduction of these waterproof socks.
The Crosspoint crew socks are constructed using a triple layer system. The outer layer is knit while the inner lining features moisture-wicking nylon. In between these two layers lies a waterproof and breathable membrane layer. This constructions allows for the sock to feel very sock-like whilst offering the protection of a rain bootie. These socks can be purchased from Showers Pass' websites for between $28 and $35 a pair.
These waterproof socks will appeal to people with outdoorsy inclinations who want to be able to immerse themselves in hikes, runs, ski runs and other outdoor activities without worrying about something as trivial yet deeply annoying as drenched socks.
