If crop circles get attention, then it seems fitting that advertisers will start to recognize the opportunity.  This giant ad for Swiss Air is a good example of how you can quickly turn a crop field into an ad medium.  Who eats food anyway?

We’ve seen the Firefox logo carved into a field, but the real difference with the Swiss Air ad is that Swiss Air actually paid for it…

The only kicker with this cool idea is that it has to be from 2002 or before, because that is when Swisair ceased to exist.
