Digital Assets Resource Creative Fabrica Launches a Generative AI Tool

Creative Fabrica is an online marketplace for digital files like print-on-demand assets, fonts, and graphics. The company recently announced plans to launch a new generative AI tool dubbed CF Spark, which allows users to put up their generative AI files for paid use by other community members.
Creators can utilize CF Spark by entering a question, which creates four photos for them to publish on their page. This allows creators of AI files to profit from their own work, giving them the ability to sustain themselves. Other Creative Fabrica users may re-prompt the AI pictures to achieve various outcomes and post photographs of what they produce using that artist’s AI-generated art.
“We saw that DALLE and MidJourney where opening up their gates towards more beta users and we took the bet that OpenAI (make DALLE) will open up their API at any time. At the time we were betting towards the end of this year and we thought to build already the product as if the API would be available,” Roemie Hillenaar added. But in the middle of that, Stability AI released Stable Diffusion open source, and since Creative Fabrica was already in the process of developing CF Spark, it allowed it to take the new tool live more quickly.
