You’ve probably never heard of Speedo shoes, but if Craig Port gets his way, people in Africa might just be rocking heavy footwear with their swim briefs for Spring/Summer 2010.

If a guy is going to rock a banana hammock, what are the appropriate shoes to go with it anyway? While I’d argue barefeet or flip-flops, South African designer Craig Port decided tan lace-up sneaks make the perfect speedo shoes.

In the end, it doesn’t matter—after all, especially in Craig Port’s super tiny swim briefs, it’s not the shoes that make the man.
