Brendon Smith, owner and founder of Oberon Design in Santa Rosa, CA, makes a line of beautifully-crafted leather items that include covers for the Amazon Kindle. Oberon Kindle custom leather covers are beautifully embossed and come in several vibrant colors. Industrial quality Velcro strips help to keep the Kindle in place. The leather is stiff enough that a reading light attachment can be used. The Kindle cover has a 100% wool felt LED screen protector, 2 large side pockets, a business or ID info pocket, as well as a small memory card pocket. Checkbook covers, handbags, journals, belts, buckles, address books, organizers, wallets, card holders, and jewelry are just a few of the other items that Oberon makes. Every one of their pieces is beautiful, special and sturdy. Oberon takes pride in making a fine American craft and contributes to local charities, schools, environmental and human rights organizations, as well as writing programs in California prisons.  Oberon Design is a small company of core crafts people, designers and office staff passionate about the quality of the leather and pewter products made in our studio shop in northern California . As a team we have a deep commitment to quality, pride of craftsmanship and customer service. Most of the folks making products at Oberon Design have been working together for ten to twelve years.
