The northern Chinese city of Yabuli is well known for being a hub of winter sports and for boasting pristine wintry landscapes, but the city is now set to play host to a global architectural highlight in the form of a new conference building being designed by none other than MAD Architects.
The Yabuli Entrepreneurs' Congress Center has an elegantly curvy exterior that features undulating lines along its roof, which MAD Architects states is inspired by the snow-capped mountains that the area is known for. According to MAD Architects, the building "looks like a giant white tent, floating down from the top of the mountain then gently dissipating into the snow."
