This recent craze of colored chicks has been taking over in countries like China, Inda, Malaysia, Morocco, Yemen and even parts of the US. Dyed chickens can be viewed as victims of animal cruelty, but it is hard ignore the fact that these chicks are absolutely adorable.

At first glance, it almost seems as if these chicks aren't real because their feathers are so brightly-hued. These dyed chicks are being sold by street vendors and are gaining in popularity due to the massive amounts of attention received by patrons passing by. The baby birds are dyed when the chicks are still embryos inside the egg. The dying process is an unreliable, and oftentimes once the chick grows to and adult size they start to shed their color.
