If you are a lover of Vietnamese iced coffee, this recipe for coffee ice cream takes things to a whole new level. Created by Jessica of How Sweet It Is, the Vietnamese iced coffee ice cream is a fun twist on your standard caffeine-themed frozen treat. Perfect for cooling down with this summer, the homemade ice cream is ideal for those who love the taste of creamy coffee.

To make your own at home, you will need heavy cream, coarsely ground coffee beans, crushed cardamom pods, salt, cinnamon, sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks and vanilla bean paste. You can even use flavored beans (such as vanilla) for extra oomph. As an added bonus, you don't even need an ice cream maker.
