The conceptual 'CLOSE THE LID' toilet has been designed by Yang Jaojing as an ingenious take on the traditional bathroom fixture that promises to keep things cleaner and more. The toilet features a sculpted base that appears to hide the water tank in the lower rear section and is thus devoid of an elevated lever for flushing. The lever is instead built into the lid, which will prompt the toilet to flush when it's closed to provide a more sanitary user experience that could reduce odors.
The conceptual 'CLOSE THE LID' toilet is accented by a see-through window in the lid to let the person know if an additional flush is required after use. The toilet has a specialized bicycle flywheel-inspired structure to only flush the toilet once every time the lid is closed.
