Lidl's Chocolate Cottage Comes with Sauce to Pour Down the Chimney

— December 10, 2019 — Lifestyle
Lidl launched a unique chocolate cottage dessert for Christmas that's sure to be as delicious as it is theatrical. The Deluxe Dark Chocolate & Salted Caramel Cottage offers a different take on the traditional gingerbread house with a combination of mousse, salted caramel and cookies on the inside.

The festive dessert has a chimney that can be filled with chocolate sauce, which will spill over the roof of the cottage-shaped treat. As melting chocolate is poured on the outside of the dessert, the treat also seems to offer a different take on lava cakes with a molten core.

Astoundingly, the festive treat is selling for just £6.99 and it is sure to be the hit of any holiday party.
