The city of Beijing is home to a spectacular new Chinese concert hall, being designed by none other than MAD Architects, that is poised to serve as a landmark architectural marvel as a vibrant hub of musical activity and artistic performance.
The 'China Philharmonic Concert Hall' is sheathed in a translucent facade that causes daylight to be elegantly distributed into the interior spaces. Measuring in at 24m tall, this particular Chinese concert hall makes use of illumination situated under its white glass facade, a setup that causes it to have a softly appealing and gently glowing appearance when viewed from an exterior perspective, particularly at night and in fading light.
Set to feature some 1,600 seats, this Chinese concert hall also features spectacular acoustics thanks to innovations such as sound reflection panels that are shaped like lotus flowers.
