I think about airplanes exploding a lot. Karsten Willmann apparently also has this same thought a lot, and decided that rather than strapping your spawn into a seat when the plane is falling through the air, you should be able to gaze into your heir-apparent’s eyes so they can truly see the fear. The Skylino is a device that lets you hold your child in front of you, but still have them totally secured in case a giant wall pops up out of nowhere while flying through the air in a giant tin can. The Skylino is similar to the front-facing child carriers used for day-to-day escapades, but it’s made a bit more secure so that it can be used in place of a car seat for air travel.  Karsten notes that the device, called “Skylino,” is based on three-point belts used in modern planes. Physical contact is important, Williams continues, as the child is calmed by the parent, and the other passengers don’t flip out because of the screaming of the children.
