In an effort to disrupt current train monopolies in Germany, crowdfunded startup Locomore is offering cheap train tickets as well as environmentally friendly trains. The eco train company offers customers tickets that are half the price of Deutsche Bahn (DB) -- the world's second biggest transport company.

Locomore's cheap train tickets can be bought online with no additional fees. The infrastructure-changing rail company offers Wifi access, tables and power outlets on trains too, further differentiating themselves from DB. Sustainable and locally sourced food and drinks are available to passengers and the electricity onboard comes from Naturstrom AG, a green power provider. Furthermore, customers have the option of different riding experiences, including interest themed seating arrangements, quiet cars and private compartments reserved for meetings and other work purposes.

Clearly appealing to millennials looking for a different transportation experience, this new venture could change infrastructure considerably.
