Caribou Tea Packaging Aims to Reference the Roots of Loose Leaf Suppliers

The old tea chest gets a charming reference in Caribou Tea packaging. Despite the boxes being made of either aluminum or cardboard, they bear the detailed dressing of wooden structures. Although it would have been lovely to see the use of actual lumber in these little teabag canisters, this line of products does communicate nostalgia and an earthiness that entices infusion enthusiasts.

The image of lovely yellow woodgrain covers every face of the miniscule crates and the graphic effect seems to reveal the wood's natural texture behind the stamped logo. An illusion of applied paper labels to Caribou Tea packaging provided a visual opportunity to include more information on the beverage variety inside, enhanced with endearing illustrations.
